i really cannot believe halloween in here upon us already. it seems as though it was yesterday when this bash took place. well, it certainly was that time of year again, so with as much energy as we could find (especially around this political season) we borrowed the identities of barack and michelle obama for the evening and met up with wayne and garth, a doctor and her patient, a big (and cute) bird and her birdwatcher, superman and lois lane, batwoman and the joker, a sexually confused plug and socket, cleopatra and mark antony, juno and paulie bleeker, bristol palin and her hockey boyfriend, our two favorite wal-mart employees (check out their costumes), and of course, the pregnant nun and priest. it was by far the most diverse group we have met out on the political trail, but boy, was it fun! i really do think with all of these fine characters behind us, we really may have a chance in 8 days. so thank you to everyone who came...we had such a fun time planning, but ultimately nothing is as good as the real thing! enjoy the pictures..and yes, i am trying to get some good video up of the ipod game!:) be afraid, be very afraid!

enjoying a little time alone (can you say that when you are with 105,000 other people?) with him: watching them..how exactly do they do this..and how much practice does it really take!!.so amazing: with all of them: GO BUCKS! making this for a friend:
and going to see amazing her:
with amazing them: don't ever say i didn't put a pregnancy picture up..and this was a month ago..ahhhhh!:)
my life is good. i'm blessed with an amazing husband, great kids, loving family, andsupportive friends. what more could a girl ask for!:)
B: Hey Lincoln, do you want to go have a picnic outside? L: Shhhur, Bookah!
after outside for a little bit....
B: Hey Lincoln, let's go on a walk to find Moses and Rameses. L: Okay, Bookah, let me get my slippas on. B: Okay, but hurry.
after a little jaunt around the yard, they must've run into Moses and Rameses...
B: Oh, hi, Moses! How is your morning going? (then proceeds to laugh..Moses must be funny!) B: That's good...did you see any camels? (another laugh) That's so funny, Moses...yeah, this is my stick. No, it's not as big as your stick. Do you want to see my dinner stuff? (proceeds to take out his picnic set and show off his plastic plates, knives, spoons, and cups) Yeah, it's pretty cool stuff.
So apparently, Moses made his way into my backyard this morning to play with my boys...which is a fortunate thing considering their second uncle left today, and they were pretty upset! Thank you, Moses!
dear grandma and papa.... a long time ago (last week) you told us that you ordered our halloween costumes and we have been very excited. we asked mommy at least 29 times a day if our new costumes were here yet and why they were not. guess what? the box man brought them to our house and mommy let us try them on! now we ask mommy 29 times a day if we can wear our new costumes all day long. we love them so much. we even asked if we could put them on and show them to you and mommy said when you come and visit us we can! we love to be pirates..only the good kind though...so thank you, thank you, thank you! love, your scurvy pirate boys!
are they not the cutest little boys in the cutest little outfits you have ever seen?!!! i know i am a bit biased...but really!! i can't wait to get great pictures of them in the costumes..makes me so excited for halloween..(i do realize i am just as excited as the boys!):)
we've been waiting for this day for a long time. competition has begun for our little munchkin and it has sure been a learning experience for us! it's been so fun to watch him learn (kind of!) the ideas of teamwork, skills, practice and sportsmanship. i've always been a little afraid that i would be the screaming parent on the sideline (and believe me, there are plenty of them out there..even in 4 year old soccer!)...however, more than anything, i just find so many smiles on my face watching his little body full of determination and energy bouncing from one side of the field to the other. he has made this first season of soccer fun and exciting, if only for his parents!:)
the lineup on the field...
he always wants to be at the ball, regardless of who has it or where it is..and does anything he has to (not always a great thing when it includes pushing and elbows, even to his own teammates..but remember we are still learning!):) to get his foot on that ball! we are working at getting rid of this face when the other team scores....or kicks the ball..haha (anyone EVER seen this face before!):) he is doing so much better. and most days he is just happy as a clam to be on the soccer field running his little legs off..this is one of my favorite pictures! and at the end of it all, as long as he can give me two thumbs up and that giant smile...i know this whole new world of sports will do him so much good in the end!:) go #2!
Whew! After finally getting my good camera back and taking another 200 pictures in the last few weeks, I have attempted several thousand times to download them to the computer, but my computer will now not recognize my camera!!!boo! So instead, I gave up, put them all on beej's computer and will update you all (all 4 grandparents who read this!):) on our latest happenings, as there have been many! Fall is finally here, which means, visitors (yay!), cooler weather, bigger belly (closer due date), first soccer seasons, halloween, and football! what a fun way to bring in and celebrate fall this year! Here's to a post everyday for awhile until i get all caught up!:)
