5 people.

i've seen this on a few blogs, and finally gave in to my urge to sign up to it's the deal. the first 5 people to comment on my blog get something that i make for them, something that i do not know yet,(and you have to pass it on on your blog)..a little like the one i did last year, with a twist.

one size fits all?

Our sweet neighbor, Michelle, brought little Maizie over a sweet Valentines hat. It is so cute..and just a little big. When we tried it on Maizie, she didn't know quite what to think and we had a fun time taking pictures of her in much fun in fact that:

we all tried it on...

and I do mean all of us!:)

When they ask to dress themselves this is what comes down the stairs:

When Booker asked if he could put a hat on Maizie, this is not what I had in mind:

when bob the builder comes alive

Because we have been living in snow land the last few weeks, we've seen a lot of this little bobcat around our house. He has made our roads a little better to drive on, and only came to the rescue about 48 hours too late, however, when he did come, he made quite a ruckus in our home.

Little Bobcat came to clear all of the snow out of everyones driveway during nap time one day. Inside, Lincoln was almost asleep and then heard him shoveling the snow..he looked out his window and then just freaked out. He was screaming and crying, stomping his feet on the ground and calling out for me. I ran in when I heard him thinking he had had a bad dream or had hurt himself in some way. "Lincoln," I said,"what's wrong? Are you okay?"

His answer still makes me giggle to myself.

"Mom, Bob the Builder is tearing down everyones house and he is going to get mine"

After calming him down and just telling him that he was clearing the snow out, Lincoln finally fell asleep, and I remembered he had just watched a Bob the Builder all about demolition that morning. He hasn't asked to watch it since.

a sweet day.

Yesterday we had the chance to bless Maizie at church and what a blessing it was! She was so sweet, Beej said she started to fuss just a little, but they quickly bounced her and back to dream world she went. It makes me so greatful for the priesthood and for such an amazing dad who holds the priesthood to be able to give her such a beautiful blessing. I wrote down the promises and blessings she was given, and as I reviewed them last night, and wrote them down for her so she could read them later, I was almost overwhelmed by the sweet girl that she is and imagining what she can become. I think so often I take for granted the blessing it is to have the priesthood so readily available to bless my life and to give me comfort, but yesterday as I listened to the 3 babies (yes, we have a lot of babies in our congregation!) who were blessed, all with distinctly different promises and blessings, I couldn't help but be filled with love for my Heavenly Father who knows and loves each of us individually and sees who we can become and shares a little of it with us. I am so greatful for our sweet Maizie and can't wait to see her develop and grow and see the great things that come from her life. Here are a few pics from yesterday:
