We just got back from our two week stay in Seattle and had so much fun. The first week we spent with my brother, Toby and his family there and the second week we were all alone..well, except for grandpa, grandma, megan, emily, kevin and channing. Here is the first week in pics:

Emily and Lincoln snuggles and of course, matching their stripes. nice.

Abster and Maizie

I couldn't figure out why the kids were acting so crazy there..until I looked through the pics and saw what they ate for breakfast..lucky charms, cocoa puffs and GATORADE. breakfast of champions and crazy acting kids!

quality bonding time with papa

movie day with grandma

yet another sugary treat...why did they throw so many tantrums??! haha.j/k. meeting baby channing for the first time..what a cutie.

maizie and her uncle toby

tie-dying with meg

oh yeah, baby.

snuggles and smores.

bowling for the first time

Lincoln's strategy...BLOWING THE BALL..
OR...watching it and...

jumping with excitement!

yep, we miss it this bad.

2 days ago, we went to get the mail and an alumni magazine for Ohio State came. Lincoln saw the big "O" and screamed,"Mom, it's a Buckeye Ohio State mail." And he didn't leave it alone the rest of the night.

Literally.:)

and yes, we all miss it that bad.:)

the rest of our fourth.

The rest of our fourth was such a great day. We played all day long and then.....
Daddy came home at 6 pm for the rest of the night!!!
And for us these days this is such a big deal.

We ended the night with fireworks and sparklers...the kids had so much fun and came home
and crashed.

A perfect ending to a perfect night.

yes, he's okay.

No vacation is great until there is blood, right?!:)
So here it, a rousing game of wrestling turned a bit too rowdy and sent Lincoln flying backwards. His head hit a bookshelf and came up with a bit of a gash in his head.
A quick trip to urgent care resulted in 2 staples in his head and a large dinosaur from the store for being so brave.

And yesterday we got them removed. He was so proud of himself for being so brave..and I'm just happy his head is healed.

have you seen this?

I'm back from seattle and looking for my camera cord.:)

BUT, I saw this today and it brought a huge smile to my face. It may be due to the fact that it is 5 am, and I have been up for over an hour with my teething 7 month old, looking forward to the day ahead which includes getting staples taken out of my 3 year old's head. ahhhh, the simple delights in life:

happy friday.

the last few san diego pics

The last few days in San Diego we stayed busy and relaxed. We threw a birthday party for grandma Kim. She turned 22.
..at least that is how many candles she blew out...

all in one blow! we hope your wish came true!

and of course took another trip to the beach to take in some sun, relax and play.

Some of us wanted to play more than others..:)
So Lincoln, how WAS this trip to San Diego?
Two thumbs up???
ahhh, yes, I would totally agree. can't wait to do it again!
